Bill Multiple Reference and PO Numbers for a Reservation

Use this procedure to allocate reservation charges to multiple billing reference numbers. You can use the same process to allocate booking charges or booking detail charges to multiple billing reference numbers or PO numbers.

  1. Select the reservation, open the Billing reference allocation tab, and then select Edit.

The Billing reference allocation dialog opens. By default, it allocates 100% of the reservation charge to a single billing reference placeholder.

  2. Select the billing reference placeholder, and then select Edit.

The Split billing add dialog opens.

  3. Do one of the following:
    • Enter a billing reference number, and then select OK.
    • Select the search icon to search for a billing reference number. You can select a billing reference number from the list or enter a value in Find to display matching results. Then select OK.

The Billing reference allocation dialog opens and allocates 100% of the reservation charge to the selected billing reference number.

  4. Do one of the following:
    • To allocate the reservation charge to a single billing reference number, select OK.
    • To allocate the reservation charge to multiple billing reference numbers, select New.
  5. If you selected New, add another billing reference number by doing one of the following:
    • Enter a billing reference number, and then select OK.
    • Search for a billing reference number, select it from the results, and then select OK.

The Billing reference allocation dialog displays each billing reference number with a 0% allocation.

  6. Repeat the previous step until you add all required billing reference numbers.
  7. For each billing reference number, double-click the Percent value and enter the appropriate allocation percentage.

The allocation percentages must total 100%.

  8. Select OK.

The Billing reference allocation tab displays all billing reference numbers and their allocation percentages.
